What are the application scenarios of pneumatic/damping plastic parts?

Pneumatic and shock-absorbing plastic parts are the core supporting parts in the fields of industrial manufacturing, automobile, electronics, rail transit and so on, with the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance, good air tightness and elastic buffering. The application scenarios of the two types of plastic parts are centered on their own core performance-sealing, pressure bearing and precise matching of pneumatic plastic parts focusing on air transmission/control, focusing on vibration buffering, noise reduction and impact protection of shock-absorbing plastic parts, and most of them are fragile and core of equipment/products.

1. Pneumatic plastic parts: the core adapts to the sealing, transmission and control of the gas path system, covering all pneumatic working conditions.

Pneumatic plastic parts are made of PA6/PA66, POM, PC+ABS, fluororubber, etc., which are mainly airtight, pressure-resistant, accurate in size and aging-resistant, and can adapt to the conventional pneumatic pressure of 0.4~1.0MPa, and some high-pressure models can adapt to more than 1.6MPa. The core application is in the gas path connection, sealing, control and execution of various pneumatic systems. Mainstream scenes:

1. Industrial pneumatic equipment (core scenario)

Matching of pneumatic components: pneumatic connector (straight-through/elbow/tee), quick plug connector, gas pipe, gas nozzle, sealing ring/gasket, pressure reducing valve/solenoid valve body, valve core, cylinder end cover/piston ring;

Supporting equipment: manipulator, CNC machining center, assembly line pneumatic fixture, pneumatic punch, vacuum sucker equipment, the core function is to ensure no leakage of gas path seal and accurate gas path control.

2. Automobile industry

Vehicle pneumatic system: engine intake manifold seal, brake system pneumatic connector, door pneumatic strut seal, tire pressure monitoring valve;

5. Medical equipment

Medical pneumatic equipment: gas path connectors/seals of ventilators and anesthesia machines, pneumatic connectors of dental handpieces and pneumatic control fittings of infusion pumps, which require medical-grade environmental protection, no odor and extreme air tightness, and some of them need to be resistant to disinfection solution corrosion.

Second, shock-absorbing plastic parts: the core is suitable for shock/impact buffering, noise reduction and gap compensation, covering all working conditions with vibration/noise.

Shock-absorbing plastic parts are made of TPR/TPE/TPU, EPDM, silica gel and nitrile rubber (NBR), with an adjustable Shore hardness of 30-80a. They are mainly elastic, stable, fatigue-resistant, resistant to high and low temperatures and anti-aging, and can absorb 30%-80% of the impact force in a single buffer, and the elastic attenuation is ≤5% under long-term vibration conditions (more than 100,000 times). It is the core application.

1. Automobile industry (the largest consumption and the most complete categories)

Body/chassis shock absorption: engine foot pad, gearbox shock absorption pad, chassis swing arm rubber sleeve, shock absorber buffer block, body chassis shock absorption rubber pier;

Interior/exterior shock absorption: door sealing strip (both shock absorption and sealing), center console shock absorption pad, wheel hub lining shock absorption rubber, trunk buffer block;

Core function: isolate the vibration of the engine/chassis from the vehicle body, reduce the road noise and wind noise during driving, improve the driving comfort, and protect the components from vibration and wear.

2. Industrial equipment/machine tools

Shock absorption of heavy equipment: shock absorption pads/bases for air compressors, water pumps, generators and cooling towers, and shock-proof pads for injection molding machines and CNC machining centers, to isolate the vibration of equipment during operation and prevent the vibration from affecting the machining accuracy and causing the equipment bolts to loosen;

3C product shock absorption: mobile phone/tablet middle frame cushion rubber, notebook computer foot pad, earphone silicone shock absorption plug, drone arm cushion cover, focusing on lightweight, miniaturization and high elasticity.

5. Building/furniture/daily necessities

Building damping: door and window hinge damping glue, curtain wall damping pad and pipeline damping elevator to reduce door and window switch impact and pipeline vibration noise;

Furniture/daily life: chair mats, cabinet door buffers, luggage wheel shock-absorbing sleeves, fitness equipment shock-absorbing cushions, which are mainly anti-slip, shock-absorbing and mute.

6. Logistics/packaging

Logistics turnover: express box cushioning foam (TPE material), shelf anti-collision rubber strip, forklift fork buffer sleeve;

Product packaging: shock-absorbing pads for packaging of precision instruments/household appliances, and cushioning glue for transportation of electronic products to prevent products from being damaged by impact during transportation.

Three, two kinds of plastic parts cross application scenarios (at the same time need pneumatic+damping performance)
